'Start' button greyed out in mp

Hello all,

 

I've recently run into an issue when trying to join a server. Everything loads up fine but if I go to the 'Plane Setup' screen, the 'Start' button stays greyed out and the only way to join a mission is to hop in directly from the initial map screen.

 

Any ideas?

I've always been able to get around the perma-grey start button by:

a) Click somewhere empty on the map

b) Spectate for a moment

c) Pick your plane and load out again.
