Warpig Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 What do these do? And what plane(s) do they belong to? -Altimeter: pressure reference toggle -Automatic RPM limiter
Sokol1 Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 The first command set the altimeter minimum (safety) altitude for the one of runway where you are taking off - to avoid "flying under the terrain" nearby if dont set the altimeter and look only in this. The "Automatic RPM Limiter" is a "gamey" aids for avoid over-revving engines (in any plane), useful for "slam the throttle and forget" players.

Are you saying it's to zero the altimeter to the runway altitude? Forgive me if I misunderstand what you're saying. Would I be right to assume that the RPM limiter is only available with "Normal" controls mode then?
