Dr_Molenbeek Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 SweetFX 2.0 does not work for me, the game crash when i launch it. Sad, your screenshots made me drool, 5tuka.
6./ZG26_Custard Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Without using SweetFX I have just adjusted the gamma down to 0.70000 in the startup config. I think it is a good balance because although the cockpit is darker it is by no means too dark IMHO. It may be a good compromise if you don't want to use SweetFX. 2
6./ZG26_Emil Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 I did both, sweet fx and dropped gamma to 0.7. Looks lovely

You can also change the gama of the entire screen and other color settings from the graphics card panel and have this profile for the game.
AvengerSeawolf Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Would be useful to say , before you try anything try first calibrating your screen through Windows and take it from there for any changes.

Mabroc Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) Posted by AvengerSeawolf: **************************************************************************** LEARN TO MOD FIRST. If you like wasting time it is you way. I prefer not to be a time waster. Program should run without serious problems if not at all. I got better picture bu adjustng screen from my graphic card panel." **************************************************************************** And even if you f«;+d your install, just delete the folder **************************************************************************** "I did that still messed up game and so on. SO as I sad I prefer not to be a time waster. Even if I answer your quotes..Perhaps will be useful for others concerning the " Sweet -fx" bug program." End of AvengerSeawolf post ######################################################################## My reply: From the EULA.TXT on the ReShade public beta with SWEETFX 2.0 (the one with the installer, the SWEETFX 1.5 doesnt have one): ###################################################################### LIMITED WARRANTY ---------------- NO WARRANTIES. Instead it uses a custom Direct3D runtime dll which the most DirectX games will call." So I dont know how any of the versions could have corrupted so badly your game than even a full wipe doesnt permit a working reinstall. But as someone already pointed out OTHER PROGRAM/S.O. ERROR/HARDWARE MALFUNCTION/DIVINE INTERVENTION is probably the cause and not SWEETFX which I used on the past 2/3 years on several games without great problems, yes, some bugs, or chashes, but nothing major and simply removing the files fixed any problems I encountered. AvengerSeawolf Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 the SWEETFX 1.5 doesnt have one That' s right. But any way , now people who read this topic can be informed about that.

I also do this instead of using sweetfx, it's looks really nice. I also slightly increase the color vibrance in nvidia control panel to make the game a little bit more colorful, I'm sure there is a similar setting in catalyst.

Yes indeed, you can get some very nice results without using SweetFX
