So was that my first look at edge2? I do like the look of the more organic scenery including g the traffic. Makes for a much more believable world.

Not sure if that is the EDGE engine, but it is the new Nevada map..

Gosh? when did I first hear about it? About 8 years ago?

_{Looks just great, but I have to say I have a fair number of modules from DCS and while there is no denying that its a very accomplished sim, I don't tend to have a lot of fun with it. I really hope that we have some decent WWII modules released in the foreseeable future, as I am fed up of flying WWII aircraft over a modern landscape.}

I hear ya!

 

That and DCS has to address the viewing system and netcode.. If they don't fix that, no amount of new eye candy in the EDGE system will make up for it..

 

The view system and netcode has been broken for over 10 years.. But on the bright side, DCS has done more in the past couple of years than they have since the first LockOn release.. So, if they fix those two items and contine on the rate they have been of late, the DCS sim could fill the hard core simming markets needs all by itself.

Do you know how many aircraft fins, light posts, fences, buildings and sign posts I'd have hit on that flight? All of them.

 

Nice map though, and has piqued my interest in DCS.

I see all the GA hangars and terminal over on the NW side of the field, but I didn't see any GA aircraft.  Seems odd not to have bizjets.
