HeavyCavalrySgt Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Oh, sad news there! I am glad the pilot is okay though. "Focke Wulfs have a tail dragger instead of a wheel at the back of the plane which made it difficult to control in strong winds, Wilson said." I suspect that is not quite what he said.

SOLIDKREATE Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Oh God this turns my stomach.........I hate seeing this but more importantly I hope the pilot is okay.

If you had read the article, you would have read that the pilot walked away from the a/c. "Bystanders rushed over to help but Parker walked free from the plane uninjured."

6./ZG26_5tuka Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Think of psychological consequences also.... A truely sad what happened to this Fw 190 and it's good to know the pilot is alright. Thats bird should be able to fly again for sure considering what happened to he Red 7 some time ago and how damaged it was afterwards. Luckily (if you can say so) it wasn't one with it's original BMW801.
