novicebutdeadly Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I'm not quite sure how to start this, in that I have no big issues in regards to the plane set outlined for BOM. I want this title to succeed, but my concern is that sales will not be as good as they could be. If you fly the Axis side you will never be disappointed, in that the Germans for example didn't field a large array of fighter aircraft, so you would never really encounter a situation where your fav plane is not available. Whereas the allies did field a large array, not only among each nation, but each nation combined. So doing another Soviets v's the Germans release I believe won't do much to attract new customers, and may cause current customers to become bored. The reason for this is that those playing this genre not only love the aerial combat experience/ blowing stuff up, but they also have a favorite plane. Putting the P40 in should attract more American customers (as well as others) which is a great start, but I believe that BOM hasn't gone far enough in regards to non-Russian fighters for the allies. My suggestion is to add either the Spitfire or the Hurricane (both of which were exported to the Soviet union in the summer of 1941). I believe that the Spitfire would be far more popular than the Hurricane, and would def attract new people, as well as keeping existing customers happy. On the AXIS side of things, I would suggest giving them the HE112 (which did fight in this theater during this period).I understand that this would more than likely cause delays, but IMHO it would be more than worth it.~S~ 1
