Pharoah Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Expert mode doesn't allow the mini map - you need to use the full map. By default I think it is set to "o" Be sure to head on to the TS as well ah ok. I couldn't remember what the full map was mapped to, thanks. Ended up flying around in circles trying to find the german airbase and gave up! lol. Will try again this weekend (bring on Easter!!!).
6./ZG26_5tuka Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 (edited) "The devs are promising dedicated servers with 100-player capability, optional global stat tracking, and bomber sharing" Well, we had a 100 player server...at least for a few weaks. Promises will always remain doubious but the fact alone we actually HAD such bg servers and many people could fly smoothly on them (better frame rate and ping than on official servers with lower player numbers) makes me shake my head about this unreasonable decision. Sure they've stepped on their cutomers toes moer than once already without any sign of explaination but this certainly caused the biggest long term damage to the MP comunity in my eyes. It's no wonder I don't get too exited for BoM unless this and many other things bugging me with BoS get sorted out. Because for an unreleased game with one new map and 10 aircraft availabel somwhere around the following year I can not enjoy in the only mode I'm interested in (MP) it's a pretty expensive deal actually. AbortedMan Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Ok that shows the game is not properly optimized or designed, even in RoF it was also something like this (70 planes and 20 ground objects). After this numbers master server was inefficient. So what can we expect after a year of working on the BoS and now the BoM. Issuance of games every year not bode well for us, but people are happy to see the "new" aircraft and map. Sad. I thought you meant 70+ AI aircraft...which the game cannot handle (not sure if any modern flight game can handle that)...70+ player aircraft is surely possible and was a common occurrence on The Eagle's Nest during early access.

I have a 154 A.I right now in my CLOD stress test, and I am getting avg19 FPS on my system (see sig 3.3ghz now) so it might be possible to get 70 A.I and 70 players...but you would need the latest haswell and at least a 970 or equivalent

Wow, we have the EXACT same system...except I just upgraded to a ASUS GTX970. Edited April 2, 2015 by AbortedMan
