6./ZG26_McKvack Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Let us use custom settings and let us forward time more than just 2x. I think this would improve it at least a little. I really enjoy flying bombing missions in the He-111 and with custom options and being able to forward time more would improve it. Also giving us options to customize how many wingmans, escorts, leader or not would further improve it. Example in the early levels of the game(currently lvl 6) there is not many enemies and they always get shot down by my escorts. I never feel that I am in danger and has to rely on my gunners. Only when I am bombing bridges I get that feeling since you are alone at these missions. Regards, McKvack
Feathered_IV Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 There certainly is unlimited room for improvement. 1
Picchio Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Being away from my country, I've also been out of touch with the product for a while so my impressions are extremely limited; yes, there are deep design issues with the Campaign system, but, for example, I felt particularly meh seeing that every mission assigns the player as the section's leader, lined up, cleared and ready for takeoff right away. Also, forgive the silly question, but there isn't a way to "jump" into the next plane's cockpit, correct?
unreasonable Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 To OP: I do not think we will get any of that from the stock campaign, Jason has said elsewhere that the BoM campaign will be the same format as in BoS, and he is looking for outside talent to develop a more flexible campaign structure. This will take a while, so in the meantime it is best to just enjoy the stock campaign for what it is and not take it too seriously.
T6-ADStukadriver Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I agree...there is a lot of room for improvement...it is such a nicely done game that it holds much promise. My suggestions...in single player mode...perhaps the campaigns...how about allowing the player to return to base after expending their munitions for re-load and return to the battlefield? Rudel and his Stukas flew numerous missions in one day. And...if the mission involved trying to stop incoming tanks or attacking forces...how about having the tanks (or whatever) continue to advance toward their objectives...this with the re-load capability would add some tension to the missions as you try to keep them enemy away for the airfield, for example. Final suggestion...we all know that as the Soviet forces advanced on, for example, Gumrak...the airfield became chaotic with destroyed aircraft all around. As the campaign develops, how about having the static scenery start including debris and smoke and crashed aircraft? Is that possible? Thanks.
AvengerSeawolf Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I would like to see dynamic campaign where the player will be able to chose from a variety of missions other important in this sector or other in other sector ( i.e. ground or air) and each will affect different the outcome of the war or phase that the player is in. Knd of like strategy involved. it can make things very interesting using strategy as well.

J2_Trupobaw Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 (edited) Let us use custom settings and let us forward time more than just 2x. Let us use customised settings, way 1: No green or white boxes checked = exp1.5 . No white boxes checked=exp x 1.0 . White boxes checked = exp x 0. Way 2: Start with exp x 1. Each unchecked green box adds 6.25% (rounded down) to mission experience, up to +50% for each 8. Each white box zeroes mission experience. Edited April 2, 2015 by Trupobaw 1
