Two quickies! Firstly, I've been working under the impression that the Checkzone trigger will only work for objects (including the "player" object) in SP missions, or for AI-only objects in an MP mission. I'd be really grateful if someone could confirm this, or tell me I'm a moron and correct me!

 

Secondly, the proximity trigger: is this similar? Does it only check the distance between two objects (including the "player") in SP missions? Can it work in MP? More exactly, can it check the distance between a player-spawned aircraft in a DF mission and an AI aircraft? I don't think so, because I can't see a way to get it to do that, but I'd love someone to tell me I'm wrong.

 

Secondly-and-a-half, if it's true that the proximity trigger won't work for MP (DF) missions, is there another way to accomplish this? [it's not important, but I'd love to be able to play a short mp3 clip if a DF player approaches within a certain distance of an AI flight!]
