I know the command
for line break but what other commands are available for the mission description?

Is it possible to have one briefing for Axis and another allied?

Cheers

I also use for underlined text, and it's all I've personally needed so far.

I don't think you can have mission briefings that are collation-specific. But you can have translator icons that show text (labels, really), and they are collation-specific.

Thanks again Coconut!

I suspected this after seeing both briefings in the larger DF servers...that's a shame.

I'll use translator icons instead

You can also use for bold text.

Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to write the mission briefing ? Which language is used ?

Works for me, see the screen cap. I'm using it for direction/distance indicators on flight paths.

Ok, that's not the way we use it to display separate briefing. With your method you only display a few information.

Indeed, I wouldn't use that for more than a few words. Supposedly, the description of the Mission Objective MCU is visible as a mouse-over tool tip. Maybe that's another potential solution. I haven't managed to get them working in MP, though.

There is also the method of drawing text using lines. Not something I would attempt by hand, but it might be feasible with an external tool, if the performance overhead of having hundreds or thousands of lines isn't too big.

In Rof, we use the description from Icons to display briefing. But with Bos, the description is not display.

I just had a thought. You could set a trigger at the beginning which leads to a subtitle MCU...would that work?

It would work, but it's not ideal. People who join late won't see it, and players can't bring it up and hide it as they need.
