616Sqn_Johnny-Red Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 (edited) My sincere apologies if there is already a topic covering this subject: I have searched the forums and couldn't find it. 1: My first issue relates to track editting. I have some experience editting flight tracks in RoF. When I edit tracks in Il-2 and confirm the changes at the end of the track playback, the track remains unchanged. When I play it back, it retains all the views and camera angles of the original track recording rather than the editted version. Since the sim's release I have been unable to save changes to any track I've editted. 2: Today I renamed a track I'd captured during a LAN party yesterday, after I realised the original name I'd given it described the wrong track. Upon saving the change I went to load the track and got the following message: Message List #1001: Error occurred during flight record loading process: related mission was not found. This seems very strange as I have another track from the same flight which still loads fine. Also, the track info which is displayed in the right hand bar vanished. As I have other tracks from that flight, I know what it should say there: Record date, Record duration and Mission date were all unchanged but Mission name was listed as "undefined" and the space underneath for the description was also blank except for the word "undefined". I really hope someone can help me with this - I was looking capturing some video of our online antics as a bit of a morale booster for my squadmates. We get shot down a lot, but we have tons of fun blowing stuff up! Edited March 27, 2015 by Johnny-Red
LLv34_Untamo Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 (edited) S! I just received a track file from a friend, and tried to play it and I also got that "related mission was not found" error :O .. Is this normal operation, as in, you can't use other peoples tracks? I was flying on that same mission that was on the track (so I have the mission) but the mission HAS changed since(by our busy bee editor guy ), is that the cause? Each track file has a folder that needs to come with it. They need to share the same filename. Probably what happened is your friend renamed one but not the other, or only sent you one and not the other.
LLv34_Temuri Posted August 30, 2016 Posted August 30, 2016 or only sent you one and not the other. Yes, this was the cause.
