error or abusively banned from fresh meat server..?

Hi there,

 

Just to report my personnal experience as it happened a few seconds ago.

 

I was playing for a few minutes on the DED normal fresh Meat server.

After being shoot one time I exchange a few words by chat with my executioner in a friendly way I just restart.... same plane, same airfield (airstart in fact).

 

After a few turn ..... freeze and I am back on the server lobby but without any server on the list...

 

So I just restart the game thinking of a kind of crash.... but at my great surprise, I had a small pop up when I tried once again to rejoin the server telling me I was banned on that server....!!! ??? what?

 

Can some one explain to me WHY  I was banned??

 

I am not a great pilot and not very familiar with online playing but I would like to experience it in a good and casual way and I can say that I am always polite, gentle and tolerant with EVERYONE so I think it is not much to ask to get the same in return or at least the right to play on these servers..... ...

 

Hope this is just an error and not a practice that looks like pure abusive ban.....

Would have like to find an easy way to contact the server admin.... to discuss this with him in a kind way of course...

I think I remember, back in the day, seeing this message when I wasn't really banned at least a couple of times.

I've been banned from my own server after a crash like this. It goes away a couple minutes later...that is, if you didn't really get banned.

Actually I tried later on and it worked fine again.

Trying to understand what happened, it seems I may have connexion problems at some point (rather new so I didn't expected that)

This may be the reason.

 

Anyway I consider this to be an error of course and no need to go further on that topic to me..

The server is not staffed full time. Sometimes it crashes and you have to wait for an admin to reset it. When it happens, sometimes it drops from the server list and sometimes it shows the server as populated but you can't join. It runs well 90-95% of the time. Other than this issue it is an excellent server. My favorite Normal server, in fact, because of a decent amount of ground objects.
