CF-105 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 (edited) As a veteran of DCS, IL-2 1946, and RoF, I can say that a lot of people who have come here from IL-2 1946 are going to be put off by the camera in this game. While it does make for excellent film making, a camera with plenty of inertia makes the game a pain to look around, and to fly. If it were possible to make another tab under Camera Settings for external cameras, whether they be F2, F3, F4, or F11 , that allows the user to change settings like they can with the F1 camera, it would be greatly appreciated among the guys coming here from DCS, or the IL-2 series. Also, would it be possible to remove the camera re-positioning when your aircraft explodes in the F2 camera? It causes a noticeable lag when recording, and would be nice for film making. Great job on 1.010! (edited) Sorry, have not been able to get the video to work. Edited March 22, 2015 by CF-105
Jocko Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Coming from IL2'46 and CloD, I have gotten used to using track IR to look around in external view. It's much easier to look around by moving your head 2 inches or so than by taking your hand off the throttle or stick to use the mouse. Would it be possible to give us this option? Thanks.
