I don't mind admitting I hated talking on the radio to ATC especially as I did most of my hours in a quiet backwater in the US but then came back to the UK to fly our of one of the biggest airports in the UK. I'm sure I'm not alone :D

Something like Pilotedge would have been fantastic back then.

I think hate was the wrong word....fear is more how I felt. I never got used to it but where I flew in the US was much more relaxing compared to Manchester airport

LOL, I remember they use to call me the 'Love Doctor' because of the way I talked on the air. LOL. My friend Ed one time yelled out across the RADAR room "Hey Ike, did you get his number?"  LOL
