6./ZG26_Emil Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 http://www.pilotedge.net/ I don't mind admitting I hated talking on the radio to ATC especially as I did most of my hours in a quiet backwater in the US but then came back to the UK to fly our of one of the biggest airports in the UK. I'm sure I'm not alone :DSomething like Pilotedge would have been fantastic back then. Emil
SOLIDKREATE Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 (edited) We hate talking to you too. Because you are not the only one we are talking to. Air Traffic Controller First Class, US Navy 2001- 2010 Edited March 20, 2015 by 6./ZG1=SPEKTRE76
6./ZG26_Emil Posted March 20, 2015 Author Posted March 20, 2015 I think hate was the wrong word....fear is more how I felt. I never got used to it but where I flew in the US was much more relaxing compared to Manchester airport
SOLIDKREATE Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 LOL, I remember they use to call me the 'Love Doctor' because of the way I talked on the air. LOL. My friend Ed one time yelled out across the RADAR room "Hey Ike, did you get his number?" LOL
