[7e]Forza42 Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Hello using multi monitor (5860x1080), i have an issue with the UI within the whole game Menu are placed on the edge of the screen, it s little bit annoying to have to move head completely left to right to navigate into those menu. worst, the bombing view is cropped, and the settings are placed to far on the edge of the screen. Look the image please is it possible to have a kind of lua script or whatever to specify where the main UI should be placed? Gui ={x = screen.width / 3;y = 0;width = screen.width / 3;height = screen.height;}UIMainView = Gui
GrendelsDad Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 would really love to be able to move map around as I use and irregular resolution...4 monitor setup...with 3x1920x1080 1x1920x1080 all the menus and the map are located "off screen" please help devs.
GOAT-ACEOFACES Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 is it possible to have a kind of lua script or whatever to specify where the main UI should be placed?Put me down for this request too! I have the same problem with my multi screen setup.. Granted, multi screens are not the norm.. right now.. but what with some of the larger screen options coming down in price, this will start to affect more and more people
SnowWookie Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 I am new to the BoS and was hoping to fix this GUI issue with my triple monitor setup. Having big monitors and looking way left/right really does make things a little extra difficult.

Does anyone know of this has been resolved yet? Life has had me pretty busy, but I hope to dive back in to IL-2 soon. I play on (3) 1920x1080 with a bezel-corrected resolution of 5860x1080. I have the same issue as the original poster - bomber controls are cut off and unusable, and the view is far to zoomed in. The map is also too zoomed in and very difficult to use, and the menus appear on the far left and right sides, which is just an inconvenience. Hopefully the bomber sight and map can be corrected. I understand that there are very limited development resources. Thanks for doing such a good job with the series with so little!
kestrel79 Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 I'm a triple screen gamer as well, looking forward to these features but I think VR became the priority over this over a year ago. Hopefully it sees some changes coming up but I'm not sure either if this has been implemented yet.

Hopefully I'll have some time to jump back in again soon and maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. One day when VR allows better FOV and tech has matured enough that a video card to run it well is reasonably priced I'll be moving to it. But spending a nice chunk on it now when things like Pimax 8k are "around the corner" doesn't make sense to me.
Beazil Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Another VR and triple screen user here. I'm still looking forward to getting better gui support for 3 screen setups. Although I remember when we lost official triple.screen support, and then got it back. Progress has been made in the past, and I hope this part of development does receive attention when it is possible. There is also an additional area of concern for VR and display port triple monitor users in that at least the vive pro has had to utilize a display port instead of HDMI or another interface. Hopefully the new VR ports on the newest Nvidia cards can be utilized to solve this issue. Hopefully we won't have to choose triple screen over VR, and users who have the tech can use both technologies into the future. Thanks for the opportunity to give feedback on this.
