Matt Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 The cockpit looks fantastic. The MG81Z should make things interesting. The Yak looks great too, especially considering that it's just an editor shot. Didn't expect the exterior model to be almost finished already.
Blitzen Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Oh ...I love Dora! Wish we could see her inflight in an upcoming vid!
Trident_109 Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Thanks guys. Everything seems to be coming along nicely and I'm even happier that things are going so well at Ingromir. Having editors happy with the preliminary version of the sim will help spread good news and hopefully fortunes to 777 and our hobby as a whole. You've all worked hard and deserve the kudos. As everyone else said, "Well done on the 87 pit and the Yak." Advanced release can't come fast enough!!!! Right guys?

79_vRAF_Friendly_flyer Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Thanks for the update, and have a great weekend at Igromir!
Gunsmith86 Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 im wondering about the modifications that 777 will give its Ju87D-3 since a long time.....but hopefully not the 37mm canons. That would not only be out of the Battle ( like the Fw190) but even more out of the timeframe.......... This would be a posible modification: Waffenbehälter WB 81A or WB 81B (firing with 15° downwards deflection) gun pods on external bomb racks for ground attack duties, each "watering can" containing three 7.92 mm MG 81Z twin machine guns, for strafing enemy troops. 2
AX2 Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Thanks for the update, Great job! Ju87 cockpit and Yak 1 look amazing. Gunsmith86 Good idea.
rOEN911 Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Great guys amazing detail,I want to see some damaged models if are ready to be honest :D
OBT-Psycho Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 let's guess it will be the focus of the next livestream. Damage Model and FX are the only subjects not covered yet by those shows (am I right on the grammar with the "yet"? always wondered how to correctly use that construction...) and highly claimed by the community. or maybe just a livestream about an aircraft beeing able to use its brakes would be neat
Mags Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 That cockpit is very nice indeed. Have a nice weekend!
LordNeuro*Srb* Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Wow looking gr8. I cannt weit to tray it out. And the cockpit looks so good it will be a plesure to be in a guner seat.

SYN_Blackrat Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Just hurry with the pre release!!!!! Geez im jonsin over here. I don't appear to be acquainted with that colloquial phrase old chap, can I assume masturbation? or is that a bit too much?
rarapka Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 (edited) I don't appear to be acquainted with that colloquial phrase old chap, can I assume masturbation? or is that a bit too much? Lol, Jonesin is an intense craving for something. Cool cockpitshots here, very nice Edited October 4, 2013 by rarapka
Rjel Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Excellent update. Again. Good to hear the new build is performing well. Very good to see some newer names posting here. This is going to be a good time.
Jason_Williams Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Great guys amazing detail,I want to see some damaged models if are ready to be honest :D ROEN, The damage models are not done yet. That is only good to show when complete. Jason
BeastyBaiter Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 and landing with no brakes as usual I get the feeling this is going to become a running joke in this game. Thanks for the update. Stuka pit looks wonderful, can't wait to see it rendered in game.
darthdooboss Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 I only may say that this awesome!! Beautiful work
365magamma34 Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 great cockpit bravi!!! I hope to meet a Mig 3 too... "the appetite comes with eating"...,-)
71st_AH_Hooves Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 pit looks great, lookin forward to the early access.
BlitzPig_EL Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Both models are very good looking indeed. Well done. I hope someday I can fly a P 40 with that level of detail.
Pierre64 Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Thanks for these screenshots! Doesn't the transparent parts have a yellowish tint on the Yak-1b screenshots, (as was the original russian Plexiglas)?
Volkoff Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 The cockpit looks fantastic. The MG81Z should make things interesting. The Yak looks great too, especially considering that it's just an editor shot. Didn't expect the exterior model to be almost finished already. The cockpit looks incredible. The amount of detail that went into the cockpit is breathtaking. I am kind of shocked that the Yak-1 is not a finished model though, if that is the case, as it looks incredibly detailed and ready to use to me. I just think that the Yak-1 can use a winter paint scheme. The Lagg-3 looks real sharp in winter paint and I imagine that the Yak- 1 will too. MJ
Pierre64 Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 (edited) (...)The Lagg-3 looks real sharp in winter paint and I imagine that the Yak- 1 will too.f+1(this is a Yak-1, not a Yak-1B, but fine camo anyway!) Edited October 5, 2013 by Pierre64
rOEN911 Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Cheers Jason,This is what i said,if are ready i would like to have a look,is one of the things that always amazed me with the il2 game.
Kaenzdhi Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Excellent works as always. Thx for the update.
Frequent_Flyer Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Thanks for these screenshots! Doesn't the transparent parts have a yellowish tint on the Yak-1b screenshots, (as was the original russian Plexiglas)? The yellowing of the canopy and windscreen was an unintended consequence of incompetent manufacturing . The engines in both the Lagg-3 and Yak leaked oil profusely. The cockpit typically filled with exhaust fumes and became unbearable hot, to the point the VVS pilot would fly with the canopy open to get relief ( increasing drag ) and further degrading the performance. I am not certain what percentage, if any VVS aircraft had a two way radio ( if they had a radio, they could only receive transmissions, ) in their aircraft during BOS. Some flight leaders had two way radio's, and would direct the rest of the flight with hand signals. Historical accuracy would not make for a satisfying Sim.

Strike the last word and replace with game. In a sim there should be a enlarged picture of the leaders cockpit when one is looking in that direction, so the handsignals could be seen.
