Can't Get Into Server -Ded- Normal -Fresh Meat Server 2-

I like this server for various reasons but sometimes I just can't get in. I found out that others can't either. Ping is not so bad, about 166 and plenty of room for persons wanting to join.

So, just in the most general terms what might be going on?

I have found this server to be a little unstable and my game has just hung several times, particularly when trying to choose airfields to start from. I haven't had any issues like this in the small number of servers that I have visited.

Dserver program hangs sometimes after long periods of continuous play. The server still reports to the BoS list that it's online and people are playing, but they really aren't and no one can join. Server managers need to monitor their dserver constantly or setup scheduled automatic restarts.

22/48 and it's not allowing me into the server... Seen this a few times now.

Same here, get the load screen and a progress bar, then return to lobby.

Impossible to connect it's loading and then return to the main menu without any information...

FYI: I am local to the The Eagle's Nest, and sometimes (after the last patch) I am getting this exact same problem when I know there are people on the server flying (because I am talking to them in TS, etc).

 

I try to connect, it loads almost all the way, then just puts me back out to the server list screen again.  3, 4, 5 times in a row... plenty of room on the server, etc.

 

Just wanted to share, because I do not believe this is something only happening to the DED server.

Delete all files in it.

Sometimes it helps.

It is doing it again.  Load screen, progress bar, then return to lobby. I am in Chicago with a ping of 140-59 for the server.

This is happening to many servers that have players on it. I think this version of dserver/the game is having issues with connectivity.

Yeah, if you keep trying you'll eventually get in. Takes up to 5 times for me sometimes.

Same here. Thanks God I found this thread, I was getting desperate.

 

 

Anyway - I try to join the -DED- Fresh Meat Normal Server, I get the game loading screen, then get back to the server list. I tried to rejoin several times without succes, it has been like this for at least a week.

Just happened to me again what I first described in this topic...

Didnt help. I join server --> throws me back into browser. Every time.

Since last update same problem here while never having a problem before.

Already emptied the games dogfight server and rebooted windows7 after updating.

The mission loading progress is indicated with the red line filling in untill the verry end, there the first mission image wants to appear but fails and next the game comes up with the MP server page. The while the dogfight folder also fails to show a mission.

Something seems to obstruct the up-load of an acceptable MP-file.

However  the server seems to be active because the MP server page shows ppl present.

No problem on any other server thou ... nor did I run into this problem before the last update.

I'm the opposite. I had multiple problems with getting in and keeping it stable on the previous patch. It is running flawlessly for me on this patch. 28 online this morning and no problems except a slight delay from the map screen to cockpit occasionally.
