Amps to "11"!!!

Or even "12"!!!

Just pump it up to "13"!!!

And now, just go straight up to "1989", if you know, what I mean... ?

How classic is this?

I praise the good Lord every morning right after my cold bath that He invented fickle, money-hungry, two-timing womenfolk to give them blokes something wot to sing about.

So I'm in this retro nightclub see. It's 4am and I'm sweating buckets of beer doin' the Eagle Rock and really bustin' it! The chicks are cheering me on enthusiastically "Get a haircut gramps. It ain't the 70's no more!" as they down another water and pill.

I'm not so sure about Rik Mayall. He died from over-acting didn't he?

Look, we're getting the new series of Shaaairtlnd down here so I'm looking forward to good Scottish drama again. Finally. Meanwhile here's the theme tune from probably the greatest Scottish drama ever filmed ....

Dr Finlay's Casebook. You know it!

Well, only just.. I was 3 when it ended !

But yes, the good ol' days.

When the GP service was a service where they were on call 24/7 and would come out to your house in the middle of the night.

The state of it now..

Och! Why you're just a wee bairn. Ah yes I remember the days before conspiracy theories and social media. Crazy times ....

And then the Messiah appeared ....

Good thing for Closed Captioning.  I’m guessing it has to be the farthest thing from English that still counts as English.  I cannot understand the lead woman character at all.

This is a better track from them... Adrift in the Ocean. Starts off quiet and gets mesmeric, eventually turning into something very very different... love it!

Great track. Posted that one because I spent some time today watching fallen leaves while drinking my morning coffee, and I immediately thought about this song. Great band anyway!

Always happy to head into doom metal territory.

Here's one from the latest Candlemass album.

Reviews are generally positive and I agree with those.

The production is a bid too clean for this kind of metal for my taste though.

That does not take away that these are some of the greatest doom riffs I've heard in years.

Great performance overall by the band too.

Enjoy.

Have a nice day.

:salute:

Now you are talking Kintaro!... I remember when Rush first hit the music scene which for me was the early 70's... I absolutely loved them.

This is 'Spirit of Radio' with just the best intro ever...
