S!

This weekend will be a metal one. Bands like Cannibal Corpse, Opeth, Cradle of Filth, Norna etc. Can't wait to meet fellow metal heads at the festival ?

For Metal Weekend,  hang in there for the old school M60 at 2:15.  Ahh the good ol' days, when men carried M60's.  Not these gay little SAW's.  Enjoy.  And kill.

Judith Durham was special.

A voice so pure. A humble lady thrust into pop stardom in which she never felt comfortable. Add the vocal harmonies from the three lads and it was special.

Orange Goblin, great band.

I've been a fan since their debut and found out about them thanks to Lee Dorrian from Cathedral with his riseaboverecords label.

Have a nice day.

:salute:

Talkin' 'bout stoner rock, have you heard the new Nebula album yet?

Have a nice day.

Italians had some amazing singers back then. Albano and Romina Power, Toto Cutugno, Adriano Celentano,....:music:

Anyway, here's another great song from that era, that was later butchered by Celine Dion. :dash:

Most people these days never even heard the original.

The original " The power of love" by Jenifer Rush.

Saw them in Chicago.  There was a electrical snafu at first and the only thing working was the PA system.  Jack Bruce pulled out a harmonica and he and Ginger Baker jammed together like that for fifteen or twenty minutes until the problem was sorted out.  It was the highlight of the show!

This was one of her favourite tunes. A lady always and a Monarch like no other. She was all I knew and held Australia in high esteem. You done good Ma'am.
