BlackHellHound1 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Hello there fellow pilots, Yesterday, my friend (=[Coffin]=f1v3) and I decided to fly some He-111H-6's in the DED Expert server (first time since 1.009). As soon as we spawned in our tail-wheel broke clean off. We jumped out of our planes and took new planes and had the same problem. We did this a few times to see if the problem would fix itself. It did not! Today we experienced the same problem. In some cases the tail wheel would break off as soon as we spawned in. In other cases it would take a few seconds. In only one instance did the tail wheel broke off as soon as I started taxiing. In almost all cases but one did the tail wheel break before the engines had been started. We where still able to taxi, take off and land but after we landed it counted as an emergency landing. I do not know whether this is a server specific problem or not. I hope this will be fixed soon. TG-55Panthercules Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Hmm - sounds a bit like the problem I saw a few updates ago with the Stuka's tail wheel bending/breaking while sitting on ground - I haven't checked it lately but it makes me wonder if that ever got fixed or if it spread to the HE-111. Maybe I'll try checking it again later tonight if I get a chance.
oneeyeddog Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I've had it happen a few times lately while practicing with the 111 in Quick Missions. It actually seemed to happen instantly on spawning in, repeatedly on some runways and not at all on others.
beepee Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I have had the same issue on the NW-Expert server too. Same experience with it breaking off on spawning in.
TG-55Panthercules Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Yep - just went in to test - I did not see the old problem I used to see with the Stuka tail wheel (so hopefully it got fixed a while back), BUT when I went in to a single-player Quick Mission with an HE-111 (starting parked) my tail wheel exploded/broke off almost immediately after I started my engines and the tail slammed to the ground.
