Sokol1 Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Not with (axis) potentiometers, but with encoders - one button pressed clockwise, other counterclockwise. http://www.derekspearedesigns.com/2015-flight---flt1.html
GrendelsDad Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 (edited) Well I have been looking for a panel for a while now...So I will let you know how it is when I get it. The reviews for the other products are very good. I am sure this will be no different. Edited March 11, 2015 by PimpSauceGrendelsFather
kestrel79 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I have two of the Black Maxx Derek Spears button boxes, they are AMAZING. He mainly sells stuff to the simracing market, glad to finally see him make some more flight centric stuff. All his stuff is top notch, works great and really adds that extra layer of immersion instead of pressing a keyboard you get awesome dials and switches. So cool guys highly recommended. Starting my engine with a switch that has a safety cover always feeling so badass
GrendelsDad Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Okay FLT-1 received. Looks awesome...light weight should be easy to mount. High quality build. I will be setting up my controls for a bit and will be back with my impressions. So far, so good.
GrendelsDad Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Unit loaded default windows USB drivers...all of the buttons, ON/OFF rockers, and dials all work flawlessly with no other drivers needed. my flaps, rads, are now axis. NICE! Starting my engine with a switch that has a safety cover always feeling so badass I too like the cool factor of the rocker switches to control engines and such. Only downside is that all my controls were offset in BOS but thats a small price to pay for this button Panel. I may get the FLT-2 if it is released as well. Wonder if my wife will be as thrilled with this one as I am?<---------sarcasm.
Scott_Steiner Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Yeah, I probably should have gotten one of those for $50 more instead of a Saitek Throttle Quadrant. He has been making great sim racing stuff for years, good to see a more flight orientated setup.
Original_Uwe Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Damn, would be all over a three rotary trim wheel set.
