This update is going to be deployed in the end of February. .... that`s what I have read in your latest update, now we are almost in the middle of March 2015 ... so, what`s up ? I havent been flying for 3 months because the sim in its present state is more than boring for my taste. I even bought the 2. plane (LA5) in order to get all the weapons unlocked but flying is still no fun. Almost empty online servers, not even a single-player campaign worth flying ... I was expecting a real single-player campaign when I bought the sim. Shouldnt have been too much expectation considering that your company already made ROF which has a functioning campaign genarator. Dont tell me "... it also didnt have one in the beginning ...". It has one now, why was it impossible to implement such a simple thing in the new sim when it existed already in the "old" ROF ? Sometimes I have the impression, the devs intentionally want to piss off their fan-comunity, strange attitude ...? Edited March 10, 2015 by Geralt 1

Well they did release the Mission Editor with 1.09., you can find it in your bin/editor folder of the game ( once updated to 1.09). It is however, not for the faint of heart, and pretty much the ME that came with ROF. You can grab the manual for the ROF editor to get a taste of what is involved. Then there is Lupson's Simple Mission Builder, a third part tool that is gaining in popularity and continuing to be updated. You can check it out here:\ http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/14672-release-simple-3rd-party-mission-builder-bos/ Less complex than the stock ME, but much more limited in what it can create. Heinkill is having success using a combination of both programs. I am strictly a single player guy, and feel your pain. The stock SP campaign is boring and does not give the feel of being involved in a true campaign. It sounds like we are going to have to rely on third parties to create the kind of SP content we are looking for, or dig in and learn to do it ourselves. Edited March 10, 2015 by dburne

Version 1.01 has a fix for some of this. <<< Microstutters that used to bother a some multiplayer fans were removed.>>> This version is due out sometime this week, hopefully your issue will be addressed in it. BlitzPig_EL Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Flying multiplayer has renewed my interest, that is certain. I'm still not real effective because I have been away from it for so long, but I'm getting there. Navigation is still the hard thing for me, I just don't have time to fly the map every day and get super familiar with what passes for differences in that drab white landscape. It's still a LOT more fun than offline flying, that's for sure.

Bearcat Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Best 'foot in mouth' rant ever! yeah SP campaign is 'somewhat lacking'. Use it to learn the planes, or go MP for some experience there. I was fed up with getting the skins for the La5 but found some hours put into MP has improved my campaign flying no end. There is fun to be had online, I'll fly on your wing or escort,... Look for the good whilst waiting for the less-good to be fixed. oh, and try Veterans missions for SP.
