Dserver - Advanced Options Greyed Out

After setting up my server I wanted to check the advanced options because my server keeps defaulting to coalition ballence = true. The only way around it I can find is to edit it in a textpad and only use File/Open/Servername

 

If I open SDS Manager, load the server the advanced options are greyed out and I cannot select it.

 

Anyone know how to fix this?
