Vehicles With No Entity Not Showing Up

Hello!

 

It seems that I cannot show a vehicle currently unless it has a linked entitiy. Thought maybe it was due to elevation of the unit, but I can see it on the ground in the editor. Just doesn't show in the mission.  Anyone else seen or know about this?

If you do not create linked entity the object will never show in the mission. You are going to see it only in the editor.

Hi caryatid,

 

If you want them as scenery you can allways use the static objects, they are under the blocks tab. There you have trucks, planes, etc that will show up without entitie.

Ahh bummer -- This was for items { tanks mostly } that are not among the statics. Wanted to fill out the tank positions at the various airbases w/ tanks but without the perf hit from extra entities.

Ahhmm bummer yeah, hopefully we get more static objects from the team such as the tanks and others that are missing.
