Can the devs remove player cap per side, on a almost full server it becomes rather frustrating to select your plane/load out and spend half hour strafing targets then rtb to re arm refuel ( LAND AND SELECT ANOTHER AIRCRAFT) and then wait/afk waiting for someone to leave your player spot that someone rudely shotgun from your feet (more then likely rapid clicking 100% fuel any pane to get the player spot).This is such a let down for a flight sim!,This is not a god dam basketball game with player bench spots with players sitting on the bench all game not even getting a chance to play.select axis/allies upon login and have a permanent spot on that side.*&%^ this game, i've stopped playing because of this,if there is no intention of fixing this i would rather have a refund so i can spend the money on a better sim such as dcs.

Yup.

 

Autobalance is a poor choice. The people who pay a pretty penny to fly this sim should be able to fly what they want, when they want to on MP.

If they are running their own server.  Otherwise, the people who run and pay for the server should have the final say.

Not my problem. I don't play your boring auto-balanced server where I am forced to play the game the way your squadron wants me to - I'm too busy flying large scale operations with my squadron in Cliffs on the server we run... Let me tell you this - I don't get stuck flying anything that I don't want to fly and that is the way it should be.  

 

EDIT: Great ROF server, btw! No autobalance on that one and if there is the terrible player count ensures that I can play the way I want to.

I don't play DCS. You make completely thoughtless statements more often than my eyes would like to read.

 

EDIT: To whoever is certain to moderate this post: I made a very clear, concise, impersonal statement. I don't have any issues with any of these groupies. It's clear that it is and always has been the opposite. If you come around here with anything negative to say about the game the typical faces of the BOS Defense League show up to start the typically dismissive "o y u not go play dcs den lol," "ok u go cry refund lol" dribble.

To be honest il2bos is kinda struggling with it's gameplay and needs more ideas .atm it's dogfight deathmatch pick a plane as fast as you can shoot and ram what ever,switch sides do it on that team because the one you were just in is full.How can you have any strategic game play with that type of setup,this game has the fan base and new comers following it,has the graphics,flight models and development behind it.Auto balance is fine but after every sortie it really gets on your nerves.and I'm fairly sure there are others who would like a option to lock players onto one side instead of getting hot swaped every 20-30 mins.

keep the deathmatch servers with air start on ect with auto balance  for all,but the servers on hard difficulty option require allot of time gaining alt and looking for targets,knocks the fun out of the game spending allot of time waiting to re-fly and complete your goal on the server.

I think it's still in development... hence expressing my views/opinions on a gameplay problem and i'm not demanding my money back.If the devs would offer it i would absolutely take it.I have not played this game much due to so many patchs/problems,there are simply more fulfilled flight sims out there.

More like i haven't played in a couple of months rather then a couple of months playing this game.Not even sure if this game is even complete.. But understand that now you are going into a completely different direction

 

first you complain about a server's settings

if you do not like how others OFFER their server (setup time and all...)

how someone hosts is no grounds to demand a refund, because you do not attack the software, you attack the other user.

then you won't get your money back... not in a thousand years.

 

second [now] you say the game is a WIP [half-baked, buggy, piece of unfinished whoopdedoop... all you want]

that is something entirely different.

I happen to agree... this program will need a decade to get to where i want it to be.

But IMO... as long as we make good, steady progress, and address the problems that creep up, i'm all right with that.

And i guess it is written somewhere by the team that this is a neverending WIP...

 

If you really want your money back, from my personal point of view i would say that your arguments must be Valid, and double Valid.

I would advise to play elsewhere, or, if there is no fitting "elsewhere" to set up your own server, or play solo.

I know you dont like Syndicate, bite me if I know why, but do not spread false information please. Our server do not use auto balance since they gave us the change to take I out.

 

Say, how's that player count looking?!

Last time our squad used the server, yeah the server is principally for us to fly as we want and if we decide to not fly a certain sim or play certain game anymore the server won't be there, the server was full for hours, so I would say the player count is looking good.

If you don't like the way a server is run then contact the admins for that server. Don't come here complaining to the developers about something that is beyond their control. Either get over it , find another server, or start one yourself with the settings you prefer.

OK.. I have been very patient with you over the past several weeks. My patience is worn out. You continually post here in a provocative and combative manner regardless to who you are talking to or what is said to you. If you want to continue to post here you need to change the way you conduct yourself... as some others have who are in this very thread when spoken to like adults. If you want an environment where toxicity and combativeness is the norm this is not that place.
