1./JG42Nephris Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 Run the game and start the editor afterwards. However you will notice the editor not to come up with map, means it will show up a black background. You can test the missions without restarting the game. 1
WWSitttingDuck Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 (edited) What we did on ROF, is to copy our install onto another drive. run your game first from one drive, then start ME on the other drive. You will not get any landscape "blacked" out in ME this way. BUT!!...when you are satisfied with your mission, kill the game, kill ME, restart ME and save the mission one more time, or you will end up with an empty list file. Also have to remember, your game will only show missions that existed when you started it. If you do the above, and make a brand new mission, it will not show up in the mission pool on the game side. So I always had a test1, test2, test3 dummy mission in my game folder. That way if I wanted to make a new mission, or edit it and rename it, I would just save it as test1 etc,,,,and it would show up on the game side....(if that made sense...) Sokol1 Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 (edited) I did a test with this - 2 game copies - and: The 3D map in Editor became more fluid with game running. But the Editor load only the Lapino map and dont change for Stalingrad one... And crash sometimes. Edited March 7, 2015 by Sokol1
