Lockup On Multiplayer Menu Screen

1.  Enter a server

2.  Select side, aircraft options etc.

3.  Click Start - irregularly the screen freezes on the menu screen, while the sound of the spawn point is heard (ie idle or flying in air start, in fact with air-start you can see your plane on the map moving).

 

The spinning disk indicating loading continues but the PC no longer responds.

Ctrl-Alt-Del to Task Manager usually results in return to "locked" menu screen.

 

If the player times out of the server control is returned.
