Help Launching Dedicated Server With Cooperative Missions

Howdy folks,

 

We've got our server up and running and listed in the browser and totally joinable, but now we're sort of hanging at the mission loading bit.

This is the error we receive:

It looks like the server is launching into Dogfight mode instead of Cooperative. Is that my issue here?

I looked up Rise of Flight's stuff (which is challenging, since their redesign has left most links broken), and it talked about setting mode = 0 in the .sds. This parameter doesn't seem to exist on it's own in there, so I tried adding it, but it still launches in Deathmatch Mode.
 
Any help?

Update: Issue was saving the mission as a Cooperative, instead of a DM.

So...can you play cooperative, but for the moment we just have to save it as a DM?  I'll try that - having the exact same issues.

Hmm OP could you post a dl link to the coop mission in this thread? I'd like to see if you're having the same issue I am. Thanks.

Sure thing. Don't mind my terribly designed, super basic mission. Just trying to learn this stuff.

If you know how to go about making it so I can select those two airfields as spawn points for the multiplayer, I'd love to know.

Thanks. The main question I have at this point is whether or not you can create coop missions with fightable AI, given that the "cooperative" mode setting doesn't work at the moment. 

 

So far I'm getting the impression that you can create coop missions but you have to save them as "multiplayer." is that right?

Yes, you just save them as Deathmatch. Cooperative against AI is totally possible now.

Although your file is very rough (unplayable), it did allow for me to test up, the set up, of a BoS DedicatedServer. Thanks for sharing it. :salute:  -Jupp-

It's definitely rough! Having serious issues dealing with either limitations of the editor, or limitations of my brain.

Shouldn't be the same saving as coop or deathmatch.

I think that in deatmatch you can fight against AI (the game is similar to moving dogfight server in IL2) but you cannot set any single plane as a spawn point.
