UK based squads..

Hello All,

I'm new to this forum but have flown ROF, IL2 and Lock on for a while now.

I have just pulled the trigger on the pre-order prem edition and am looking forward to the chilly winter nights with the log burner on flying the virtual Russian skies again.

Are there any UK based squads that have been/being pulled together in anticipation of BOS?

Regards,

WE are a UK based squad, we've flown IL-2 (a lot), ROF and one or two members have done Lock on.

We fly three nights a week, other games/activities the other nights.

Sunday we're working our way through the second half of the Battle of Britain campaign, (the first half we did with IL-2).

We weren't pulled together in anticipation of BOS, but we are looking forward to it with a high level of anticipation.

If I might suggest it, possibly the next step might be to click on the TP banner and have a quick look at our website.

I suppose we qualify as a virtual squadron, though really we're probably more of a virtual Gentleman's Flying Club.  At the moment we're flying IL2 1946 (with a few Roffers in the mix), though if BoS is the game I think it's going to be, no doubt we'll transfer.

We take our flying seriously, but have no ranks or training schedules, so this is a squad for those who want to play online in a friendly atmosphere, but don't want to play at soldiers to do so.  We're UK-based, so fly fly in the evenings GMT.  That said, we do have members across the globe.  English is spoken in TS, though American is understood and Australian tolerated.

If you'd like to read more of this sort of gibberish, pop over to our forums (http://chuffysflying...forum/index.php) and see if you fancy joining the Circus
