User made campaigns?

I've read the mission editor is going to be essentially the exact same thing as in ROF. Can you make entire campaigns? I love the career mode in ROF, but some of my favorite offline experiences have been with the detailed narrative found in the user made campaigns with 1946 -- Checkertails Across The Med! by Stiboo was a fav. The career mode in ROF lacks that brief/debrief immersion, and sometimes feels like a series of Quick Missions. I still think it's great though.

 

Anyway, just wondering. I read a post on the ROF forums that you can't make user campaigns yet, but it was from a year ago.

So my guess is that yeah, you can make entire campaings with RoF ME, and all of them are very good.

I had never heard of Patrick Wilson's Campaign Generator until this post. I've looked it up and can see download links and all that, but nothing that describes what it actually does. It seems cool, but what's the gist?

ROF, I love it but I cannot start up the damn Fokker Dr.1 or the Sopwith Camel!!! That sim is the sole reason why I pre-orderd BoS. I know what I will be getting. Granted yes, there will be bugs, but that's what us founders are here for. We are here to help the developers test and evaluate the game and make corrections where needed.

 

I can't wait to make my own campaigns. It's a big part of the reason why I'm throwing out a ton of unit emblems that my team and I created for you guys.

4 user made campaigns?! That's a real shame. It was stuff like that that helped il2 so much. I hope they find time to work on things like mission editors just to make the most of what they have.
