Uriah Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Well that gave me an idea. How cool would it be on my crash landing on an air field for the fire fighting crew to come drag me out of my plane and hose it down.
BlackDevil Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 And how much time should the devs use for this feature ? And who is paying that time ?
Feathered_IV Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 I'd be happy with ground crew dressed as ground crew. Not unarmed infantry. Maybe I'll make a mod that.... Oh, wait 3
Bearcat Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Hmmmm.. That sounds like a potential mod to me.....
steppenwolf Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Given the evolution of flight sims in general and the features found in games like GTA V or other games earmarked for 2015, content like ambient ground crews is just a matter of time; but it'll be for a game on console when we flight lovers do finally get it IMO.
Bearcat Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I don't think we will have a a flight sim for consoles until we get a console that can run all the peripherals that we use.. with the diversity..
steppenwolf Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 That would be ideal. But after seeing the realism in Project Cars, it just seems like a flight sim wouldn't be so out of place on console anymore. We already see a simplification with mouse control for sims now(also with War Thunder), and add to the elimination of joystick and pedals a console's own VR...and lush worlds..??
Shaun85 Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 (edited) I remember in red baron 2 when u land there was this ambulans car driving towards the plane and that was in 1997 its all the small details that brings out the immersion The first time i flew in bos i was stunned when i saw the soldiers running from the trucks Edited February 27, 2015 by Shaun85
Feathered_IV Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 A ground crewman standing at each wing to assist taxiing out would be useful as well as decorative. Would help against all those aircraft doing donuts on the Carpark. 1
71st_AH_Mastiff Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I just strafed a target area on War grounds New Wings and they ran away..
