Finkeren Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 His crew is propably thankful that he let that one go outside the tank. 1
Feathered_IV Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 The luftwaffe bomber crews experienced a similar problem and were often forced to improvise solutions.
Finkeren Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 On a more serious note: Are there any sources on whether some combat troops in WW2 used adult diapers (or some equivalent) like many do today?

Greiff Awesome read. I had head about the 'relief tuned' before but had no idea, they were so common to even be installed in many single seat fighters. I really wonder if this is modeled in the DCS Mustang?

I am curious about that, too. I don't expect it to be "system modeled" but I wonder if the tube is there.

I think they should model it, so you have to do some emptying of the bladder every 3 hours or so or suffer penalties similar to when wounded. And you better not try and pull any negative Gs during the process or you'll suffer a yellow rain effect on the inside of your canopy.
