LOL What is it??

Some sort of crowd funded fan film?
im only going by the low budget and quality.

But seriously what is it some sort of tv series?

Also is that Russian Dubbing over german talking?
Why don't they just use subtitles as adults can read them fast enough for movies (i understand dubbing for kids under 12, but past that its pretty offensive and rude :D )

Still looks like a fun show to pass the time all be it in small doses.

Because in some countries, there is still people not reading, and not used to read subtitles . I had it Germany used to dub films too. But I might remember wrong. I think this is a excellent series , watched 2 already. I have seen worst coming from Hollywood

It's TV series, and it's dubbed, because that's how you do it on Russian television. As annoying as it is at first (and I really wish we could have versions of Star Media's series without it) it's a lot better than the Hollywood habit (until recently) of having Germans portrayed by british actors doing lousy German accents.

The Star Media series are actually surprisingly good once you get past the relatively low production value. Acting is decent, writing is fairly authentic and there is some genuine drama to be found. The plots themselves are exaggerated in classic Hollywood 1970s fashion, which I personally think is awesome and really helps you in overlooking the fairly dated effects and shabby action scenes.

The best series by far is the first season of "The Attackers" about a Yak-9 squadron in summer 1943. Lots of drama, great characters

and a tear jerkingly brutal ending, where main characters are just slaughtered en masse.

Go watch that one first. If you are not hooked by the third episode, you can just leave the rest of Star media's stuff be. It's not for you.

Personally, I count this as the best military aviation themed cinema (well TV-series) since "Wings".
