Stab/ZG26-Ruhland Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 (edited) Hey guys, in the last years I made a lot of videos concerning Il-2, a few of them are tutorials. The people on Youtube liked them very much and maybe they help some beginners here with their first steps. Enjoy! Wombat Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Thanks Ruhland, great videos very informative. Can't wait to for the FW190 to practice cutting the turn. Flying a BF109E in COD I find a bit tricky with high angle shots due to the slow rate of fire and the added difficulty of keeping your eyes on the target. 1
Bearcat Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Very well done videos. I look forward to seeing them in BoS.
kestrel79 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Good stuff. My brother had someone on his tail a few nights ago in Warthunder and when he turned I cut the turn and took out the bandit, worked great. I'm pretty awful in a fighter this stuff helps.
Volkoff Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 (edited) Hey guys, in the last years I made a lot of videos concerning Il-2, a few of them are tutorials. The people on Youtube liked them very much and maybe they help some beginners here with their first steps. Enjoy! Developing Tactics Shooting technique: cutting the turn Setting up an energy trap I watched your videos last night. I really think you videos are great. I am coming from a ROF WW1 flight sim background, so I have to really rethink a lot of what I have been doing and learn the new way of ACM in a virtual age of extremely fast monoplanes, capable of reaching five km altitude in a mere six minutes and diving at over seven hundred kph. Heck, my LaGG-3 will lift off the runway at around two hundred kph indicated, this is over fifty-five kph faster than the top indicated straight and level air speed of my WW1 Halberstadt D.II! My LaGG-3's approach speed for landing will be only fifteen kph slower than the top indicated forward air speed of my SPADXIII! Your videos are a nice introduction into that new age. Thanks for making them! MJ Edited October 8, 2013 by =69.GIAP=MIKHA
Volkoff Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 (edited) Can someone share links to IL2 training videos demonstrating tactics while using LaGG-3 Series 29 machines against the BF-109 or FW-190 machines? I can't find any on Youtube. MJ Edited October 10, 2013 by =69.GIAP=MIKHA
