indiaciki Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Does anybody use them? I know they're cheap and that there are far better pedals around... Are they usable? I need to buy some rudder pedals. What's your experience?
Sokol1 Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 Is OK. And all Saitek pedals use the same base, mechanism and electronics (potentiometers), just differ on foot rest design and material (aluminum in Combat), and of course in price. In the same price range (~100$) you only find the CH PRO Pedal. Despite CH poor ergonomics (too narrow) the are more durable - some have lasted for 10+ years.
Beazil Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Had my Saitek pedals for ten years with no issues.
=EXPEND=Tripwire Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Had mine for 1 week and had to RMA them (main rudder axis stopped working). Second set have lasted a month thus far.
dburne Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 I have been running the Saitek Combat Pedals for about 2.5 years now, and have been pleased with them. No issues so far.
401Whi5tler Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 If you look on the DCS forums, theres a known mod for removing the center detent from these pedals that really helps with fine-tuning your firing solution when engaged
sialo Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 ive got theses pedals i modded them last year , the mod is simple just a casr of removing a part . they`ve been great recommended
