Campaign missions and mission types

I'm enjoying the single player missions more than I thought I would but I feel like in addition to the current selection of missions... I'd like to see some more options and I thought I'd brainstorm a few.

 

Here we go:

• Fighter sweep - A free hunt style mission for fighters where opposition could be anything from enemy fighter patrols, recon/transport aircraft, a bomber strike, etc. More varied than bomber intercept where you know that you're intercepting aircraft.
• Armed recon - A recon mission where you have to over fly a couple of points and observe troop movements. Could be done with strike or fighter aircraft. Engage targets of opportunity. You could run into anything from fighter patrols to some tanks or trains or truck convoys. Primarily the mission is to observe and return but secondary to that would also be able to pick off whatever you can chew (and hopefully not too much).
• Scramble - Fighter mission where enemy aircraft are incoming to your airfield or something very nearby and your goal is to get airborne and climb to intercept as quickly as possible. Variations on this would involve them being at high or low alt.

I think the other mission types are good umbrellas for more variety as well. I've seen some variety but I'd love more so its a little less predictable and you are forced to plan contingencies into whatever aircraft and armaments your choosing to bring along.
