Is there a way to turn off the in flight radio chatter?

You can remove the radio files from your install. Just locate the .ogg sound samples and move them somewhere else. For myself though, I'm hoping for more ambient radio chatter during missions. Two million combatants, and the airwaves are silent as the grave!

Thanks.  I put the radio files into a new folder so in the future if they are wanted, I just move them back.

I rather miss my old gunner.  At least you could have some fun with him.

 

I cannot imagine what the intercom chatter is like when the Pe2 and He111 AIs start flopping about when they go defensive.

Radio chatter is pretty weak in BoS indeed. Dont like that AH IM GERMAN I HAVE TO SHOUT ALL DAY LONG LIKE A PICKY SCHOOLGIRL CAUSE KLAUS STOLE MY LOLLYPOP style.

 

On the other hand they are easily modable, so everybody can remove or modify them.

The gunner voices is Actor 31 and 32 (Rus) 81,82 (Ger).

Radio chatter doesn't bother me either way I usually just read subtitles any way.

The latest update today brought back the radio chatter that I had put away into another folder, however it seems to be toned down enough that it is not distracting anymore.
