6./ZG26_Loke Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 I must be doing something wrong with the management of the engines on the 111. I use ata 1.0, oil and water temperature swing between 40C to 80C and I still end up with damage them. Am I missing something?
Maple_X Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 How many RPM? 2400RPM will destroy your engine.
6./ZG26_Loke Posted February 13, 2015 Author Posted February 13, 2015 Did not keep an eye on the RPM, but with ata 1.0 I shouldn't exceed 2200RPM. Unless the prop pitch has something to say there?!
6./ZG26_Loke Posted February 13, 2015 Author Posted February 13, 2015 Yup that did it . But then dang hard to make it climb. Had Prop pitch set to about 70% which gives then 2200RPM.
Maple_X Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Take off: Full Throttle, Full RPM (1.35ata, 2400RPM) Clime: 1.2ata, 2300RPM Cruise: 1.1ata, 2200RPM This setting should be work good.
Mikey Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Be carefull when your changing throttle setting, i have damaged my engine from the rpm's spiking suddenly
