Yikes. I really appreciate the generosity shown by some. The begging not so much.

 

Perhaps giving planes and copies of the game here isn't the best way to go? Maybe if these were dangled in front of some players on another forum it might generate more returns, like new players to the sim. Just a thought.

Agreed, it will never be enough, the generosity is overwhelming, thanks a lot, it means a lot for the community. But the planes need to be offered , we should all be grateful for what is given, especially pA Sniv witch have given a small fortune

Indeed! This was very common on RoF forum where I received some RoF planes by nice people when I was broke... I'll never forget it!

 

When BoS preorder was launched, some nice folks maintained this tradition on BoS forum and then I could join in. So, thank you to this nice RoF/BoS community!

I hate to ask but if anyone has a spare MC.202 or P40 key I would be so thankful

If I had the option I would give you mine, I am in Crete now so it is no way right now, and bought the full package first day it came out. So I do not think I can separately give one plane.

And lucky me, my rental car was hit by a hit and run Cretanian farmer ( big car) so I found out I am not insured for this. So I would not know if I can afford giving any gifts soon. Really depends on Avis and their opinion on price

You are right. I more look at this as a beginning of a community, I was among many buying a community member and his son a trailer when he became homeless in USA.

I have donated flight sim hardware to five people among many others. It is quite normal in many communities. One become friends, no matter how much we disagree , if we just stick around.

So what we see here is the beginning of a healthy community, with mutual respect
