IL-2 M skinrequest?

Peterla, I don't suppose you(or anyone else for that matter) is interested in creating a Polish IL-2 skin?  Like the famous ones with the checkered Polish markings: 

 

Just a thought.  I wouldn't presume to ask anyone to dedicate their time to something they aren't interested in!

Hi Silas,

I have one Maximo's with Polish markings long on the list but I was busy with other ones. I'll do that one but only had the Polish markings on the nose I guess. The main were VVS ones. I will add the profile later for discussion.

If you have any other picture just let me know.

That's the one I was going to do Silas. It's the only polish i found so far on Massimo's web.

Hmm, the only Massimo example I could find is this one.

 

 

You've done really great work with these beautiful skins!  My group and I use them every time we fly the IL-2.

Hi Silas,

That's as far I got it today. I still need to do some more camo/paint alignments and national markings variations on the brown one. Still the colors are not 100% correct but close(I don't think I can get any color 100% correct anyways). I'll keep working on them. The camo VVS one will require more time.

The yellow tip is also too big, I will reduce it to match more Massimo's drawings.

Check this. Let me know if you find any issue.

Main differences with the base game one:

-Green camo on engine nacelles extended(as per some models)

-Swastika on tail.

-Boats had their sinking impacts marked also.

-II.KG30 has the black outline as in Spektre's logos.

-Registration Letters are not exactly the same but that's the font I have.

-Aircraft letter underwing(not sure about it but I saw them in some profiles)

Check which camo you like more; the light sand or the dark brown. I personally like more the dark brown one(the one with the bombs), the light sand is the one in your series 87 & 110 so will distinguish the aircrafts better. Anyways is up to you.

The winter camo is a variation of white and very light grey.
