I cannot fly the Russian birds at all online...

I do not know why, but my throttle misbehaves in the Russian aircraft online only...

As I increased the throttle input, I can achieve 50% output, and then as I continue to push throttle forward to 100%, output scales back down to zero..

If that makes any sense..

Basically output and input are inverted..  And this only occurs online... Offline, no issue..  !?!

If I check the invert box in the IL-2 BOS controls panel, or even on my CH Control panel, it still has no effect..

I ran into this problem months ago, but then a subsequent patch corrected the issue..

This issue has reared its ugly head again on the latest patch...

I have tried disconnecting all my input devices in hopes that there was some sort of mixed signal..

I have reassigned the throttle to different input devices, as in the slider on my joystick, etc. etc.

Still no joy

However, the German birds are completely unaffected..

Even though you can see that the input output signals are crossed up for them as well..

Anybody else have this issue?

Thanks in advance

that's weird, as the same assignment is the same for both planes, you have something double in there it seems?

how about the bombers throttle control? if you have the engine 1 and 2 bind to your throttle unbind them try that.

if that's it, you don't need to bind those engines any way. as I have found out.

just hit the key#0 until the iChat states both engines selected. key#1 for left engine, key#2 for right engine.

I had this and it was due to the mixture setting, you need to set it before throttling up. The German planes have auto mixture so it doesn't affect them. Offline scenarios sometimes start with auto mixture setting switched to on which may be why you can fly those ok.

Hmmm...

I will double check on the bindings,

Might be the mixture, tho...

Thx fellas..!

I can't taxi russian planes at all...

walking speed, and turn then break then turn then break, also 60% on prop.

Russian planes didn't have toe brakes like the Germans did. It's all or nothing.

To brake on one side only, push the button for brakes and then give rudder in that direction.

It didnt, but they had somewhat a diferential system for braking. If you press the left rudder and then press the brakes buttons, it will apply left brakes; use the same procedure for the right one. If you dont use the rudder at all and press the brakes button it will apply brakes on both wheels.

Overall, taxing should be slow, on walking speed, but most of people just slam the throttle forward, which makes everything harder.

Good thing the second sentence in my post doesn't exist then, eh?
