Possibility to "lock" throttle?

I was just asking myself if there was a possibility to "lock" the throttle for german airplanes.

"Lock" to max continuous speed and only give it free for WEP with an input from keyboard, Hotas or any other input device.

 

In the real planes there was a throttle indent as far as I know but in the game you can just slam it full forward if your throttle don´t have any restrictions.

 

So rather to always have a look on the power settings if you need to use max continuous it would be nice to just push the throttle full forward and activate the WEP via extra input.

 

My question is, if this is somehow possible in this game.

The idea arose as I was trying out the russian airplanes and didn´t find any of these restrictions regarding the power settings.

Full throttle and you are barely able to break your engine while as in the german planes your engine brakes for sure if you use full throttle for too long.

 

Just thinking that I don´t use the planes to the extent which they could be used just because I´m "afraid" to break the engine.

 

Generally speaking I´d find it pretty nice if it was possible to set a throttle indent in the control menu which could be activated / deactivated.

Try dead zone the end the of the throttle setting so it maxes out to where you want it.
