Bobhawg53 Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I have a very hard time flying any airplane I select. It seems to me that the flight controls are super sensitive. Every time I go into a steep turn the airplane departs controlled flight. It makes it very difficult to play the game if the this happens each time I fly. Any way to fix this? I have looked in the options section and I can not find any way to fix this.
Solmyr Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 (edited) I believe an option called "noise filter" exists, which allows the user to downgrade all the input sentivities, but I fail to find it right now. Someone else will provide you (us) better help. Anyway, you can set your axis sentivity, dead zones, etc yet, for each one. Go to Settings > Controls > Plane controls > Input responses at right. And on a side note, keep in mind that most of the time, those planes need very slight axis moves, we've to be smooth on the controls. Edited February 8, 2015 by Solmyr

Leaf Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Maybe try reduce the sensitivities for each axis (roll, pitch, yaw). It's the little graph symbol in the plane controls menu.
Cryptonomica Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I found that the control sensitivity took a bit of getting used to when I first started playing BOS. You do have to be quite smooth with your movements, and you need to avoid pulling too hard on the pitch. My old joystick was part of the problem, as it was very noisy when making small movements. Since upgrading to a proper flight stick I have noticed a definite improvement. If you can reduce the sensitivity on your joystick it may help (mine is currently on the lowest setting). Other than that - what stick are you using?
KoN_ Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 (edited) try pitch and roll at . sen-15 dead-0 dead edge -40 yaw - 40 0 0 Edited February 9, 2015 by II./JG77_Con

Look.. thjios sim can be flown with a mouse and keyboard..but nobody here uses that. All o us use a joystick.. and any of us who do not ... well that is on them. Don't take their advice because at the end f the day the bottom line is without a joystick you are very limited with this sim.
