Single player campaign: Possible to fly as a wingman in the future?

I was just wondering if maybe there will be some kind of option to chose between flying as a flight leader or as a wingman in the future? 

I really enjoy flying in formation and following the flight leader as you had to in the ROF beta career if you had a low rank.

Hi McKvack. I agree, formation flying is a blast. I never flew formation with the AI in RoF but There were a regularly scheduled events held where we'd get together and do so, perhaps a dozen folks or more. Very good times . Im sure the same would be true for BoS.

Agreed, I never liked being the flight leader. The old career modes were nice where you worked your way up.

RoF BCareer is fun for this but only for certain planes. Sometimes the flight leader never slows down enough to allow the rest to catch up. I am sure that it has improved my basic flying a lot.

Being a wingman makes way more sense . Why would I be squad leader when I can't even figure out how to navigate ? Its the reason I don't fly expert mode .

Maybe I didn't understand correctly when I did my previous "+1".. I just wanted to say that, in addition of what most of people are saying here, I would like the good old rank growing system back. I would like to be firstly a blue/recruit, and then doing my own way... In a really decent campaign at least.. Why are we talking about that ? There isn't any SP campaign in this (lovely though) sim.
