I built this new PC.  I have my other one still working - it is on my home network and in the basement.

I copied from the older PC

C:\Program Files (x86)\1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\input

to here on the new PC

D:\Program Files (x86)\1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\input

POINT was to keep all my settings I have made like key bindings.

But I have two small issues.

I have two monitors and I want the game to come up on the monitor on the right, not the left which is the primary monitor.

Is there anyway to have the game open on the secondary monitor?

I know I can go into the the Windows control panel and display and change what monitor is primary but that is not the direction I want to go.

Second issue is TrackIR.  It is working fine but when I bring up the game the head tracking is not working in game.  I suspect there is some small change I need to make.

first answer no the game displays on the primary you can however have the other monitor free for what ever.

the second answer is you need to open the track ir usser interface commonly known as UI and look for update the game profiles.

I've got 2 monitors and that's the way I always do it for my games - change settings in Nvidia Control Panel. I bet if you google around a bit you could find a cmd command for it and put it on your desktop as a bat file.

Besides convenience, what benefit would there be from running the game on secondary display?

I have no idea why he would do it that way any how, as the new Cards have display port.. and wouldn't running it on a secondary display just cause more CPU cycles and less FPS.

I do however think you can window mode the game and move it and resize it when you drag it to the other monitor?

I did the Nvidia control panel and that is ok.  It is just that the secondary screen was in my direct line of sight and the primary was off to the left.  Which I kind of liked it that way except that I wanted the game to play on the monitor directly in front of me.  Not that big off a deal.
