von_Tom Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 (edited) Friday updates are great and many people love them. Please arrange some form of regular update even if there is a single post saying "No update today". I think for a lot of us it makes our Friday a bit more fun while we're waiting for the weekend. Hood Edit: Ok, I've seen a reference to Jason sayng there won't be Friday updates. How about Thursday updates whilst we wait for Friday? Edited December 13, 2012 by Hood

HolyGrail Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Priceless :D and we need to see more of the now historic " two weeks " phrase
AndyJWest Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 I've seen a leaked beta version of this Friday's Friday Update. It says "Today is Friday. Expect regular weekly reports of what day of the week it is on a weekly basis. Seriously folks, Jason has never worked like that - he shows us how things are going when he feels that there is something worth showing. Anyway, what would they report this week? "We've plugged in the computers, sorted out who gets the desk by the window, and who has to water the potted plants". Give them a chance to get started...
von_Tom Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 "We've plugged in the computers, sorted out who gets the desk by the window, and who has to water the potted plants". Funnily enough, I reckon even a non-update like that would be great. The thing about this genre is that we're so close to it - the people developing it are known to us by name and they're part of the "family". Hell, I call Jason "Jason" even though I don't know him, never communicated him and don't even know if I'd like him (or him me, though I'm eminently loveable of course)! It's always interesting to know what the family are up to. Anyway, just think of the number of posts about the type of potted plant and whether it was over-modelled. On second thoughts... Hood
