EAF_Stuntman Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) Hello guys! I'm a pilot from the international squadron European Air Force (EAF). I fly together and against 80+ other people in large scale campaigns, involving many different nationalities and squadrons. My videos are short films, online campaigns and historical dramas. Whether it has a storyline or not, I enjoy making both artistic and action packed videos with an extra, personal touch. All comments are welcome! Make sure to enjoy them in fullscreen! WINGS OF ITALY Tournament Multiplayer Campaign - Mission 2 My very first video in Battle of Stalingrad. I'm flying for the Blue Team on the Wings of Italy tournament server with 60+ active players simultaneously. My role this mission was to escort and protect Stukas. We were keeping air superiority over the Red Team airfield while the Stukas dive bombed it. We did our best against an opposition that regularly reinforced the battle and kept a very high standard of flying. The Stukas got attacked and we dived in to help, fighting the opposition until they could escape. But it was a loosing battle. I got 3 confirmed kills and 1 assist, but in the end, we were overwhelmed by Red Team reinforcements. While trying to retreat away from the enemy, I got killed. My YouTube channel Special videos Videos outside the SEOW system or important to me personally. Includes short films and historical dramas. *NEW!* This short film is a tribute to 51° Stormo of the Italian Air Force, which celebrated its 75th anniversary on 4th October 2014, at the IAF base, in Istrana. It comprises footage taken from an historical computer generated campaign flown by the virtual 51°, in the virtual skies of 1944 over the Balkans. The virtual squadron of 51°, are part of the European Air Force, which participated in the celebration on that day. Their members, having established a "flight sim corner" in one of the air force hangars, offered virtual flying introductions to the visiting public. This video (in Italian), was presented on a large monitor, to those visitors. After the anniversary, a copy of the video was presented by the virtual 51° Stormo Commander, to the real 51° Commander at the base. In reality, ICAF (Italian Co-Belligerent Air Force), fighting alongside the Allies (as part of the Balkans Air Force) in 1944, took part in assisting various partisan, Albanian and Greek resistance groups in liberating the Balkan countries from German occupation. If you enjoy the movie, liking the video is a great support to me and very much appreciated. Thank you and enjoy the film! EAF_Stuntman Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) "...As I saw this helpless, straggling bomber spiral down towards earth, its fate doomed, I was struck by the horror I was watching. I could not stop thinking about those real men who would have been trapped inside, never to see their loved ones again..."Even in a flight sim, the resemblance to reality can make me quite emotional: the joy to successfully avenge the destruction the bomber brought upon innocent people, mixed with the agonizing thought of those ordinary men no different to me, being trapped alive in a burning cage, plunging down towards their inevitable death. Caused by my actions. Edited February 4, 2015 by EAF_Stuntman
EAF_Stuntman Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 I had to re-upload the movie, as oddly enough some sound effects were missing. And since I can't edit my posts to improve the layout, I'll have to re-post. A historical drama based on the true and forgotten air war over the Balkans in 1944. This short film is from a historical computer generated campaign in the flight simulator IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946. Real humans control the aircraft. The movie was specifically made to show how a real ingame mission can become a moving and dramatic story on its own. No fictional story or video is added: everything you see is real mission gameplay. I hope this short film can be proof that the best stories, are the real ones happening in the moment. The Story June, 1944. Daylight convoy attack. We follow "The Balkan Air Force" on a dangerous mission to attack a German convoy in the Adriatic Sea. It is a large air force, combined of many different types of aircraft and nationalities: British RAF, American USAAF and the newly formed Italian ICAF. They are all fighting for the same cause: to liberate the Balkans from the Third Reich. British Hurricane Mk. IVs from 6 Squadron 281 Wing RAF based at Grottaglie, are tasked to bomb the ships at low altitude. Their brothers in Spitfire Mk. Vbs of 1435 Flight RAF based at Brindisi, and Italian Macchi MC. 202s of 20 Gruppo, 51 Stormo based at Lecce, will escort them. The Germans are losing the war. They are retreating on all fronts, but the closer the Allies push towards the German border, the more brutal the fighting gets. While the Allies prepare for D-day, the forgotten war in the Balkans continues to rage on with constant and unforgiving ferocity. The Partisans face a desperate fight to liberate their homelands, as the German grip on the Balkans seems as unbreakable as ever. The Balkan Air Force does their best to assist the partisans and help liberate the Balkan people from occupation. It will be a slow and bloody fight, to the very last day of the war; but not everyone from the Balkan Air Force will return home. Some of them will never be known and will stay unknown forever. "This is no war of chieftains or of princes, of dynasties or national ambition; it is a war of peoples and of causes. There are vast numbers, not only in this Island but in every land, who will render faithful service in this war, but whose names will never be known, whose deeds will never be recorded. This is a War of the Unknown Warriors; but let all strive without failing in faith or in duty, and the dark curse of Hitler will be lifted from our age." - Sir Winston Churchill.
EAF_Stuntman Posted February 28, 2015 Author Posted February 28, 2015 (edited) My movie for a War Thunder video competition is finally finished! The subject was to show Spitfires vs 109s. I took it a step further and based it on a true story. Now I can finally relax, after having remade it twice due to a game update in the middle of the production. The "second" movie I started re-doing on Tuesday. Due to the very little time left, I did nothing else but eat, "shoot the film" (and "miss" a lot), record scenes (and re-take them a lot) and finally combine the story out of some 380 separate files of raw footage. Sleep not included! Well here it is ladies and gents... [video=youtube_share;cXltRlWuB8c] Operation Pedestal: 11th August 1942 Fortress Malta is besieged. Desperate for food and fuel the relief convoy is within sight. The Island's population and their Defenders, have faced hardship together in a desperate time of survival against all odds. If this convoy is sunk, Malta and the war in the Mediterranean will be lost. The Convoy approaches Valletta, but it is far from a safe haven. Italian bombers are incoming in a last gasp attempt to sink the Convoy and crush the hopes of the Islanders. Newly arrived Spitfire Vbs of No. 126 Squadron RAF, scramble "their few" to meet them. No. 248 Squadron RAF scramble the last of their Beaufighters in support. Already above them a frantic struggle is unfolding as Spitfires prepare for yet another 109 onslaught. Though the enemy may be better trained and greater in number, the RAF will not accept defeat, at any cost. The unspoken eternal truth that many will die and friends will be lost is the burden that must be borne. --------------------- Music by Adrian von Ziegler: Nevermore Gleipnir The Sylvans Path Music by Trond Bjerknes: Max Manus End Credits Special thanks to the Pilots for making this movie possible: awFirestarter EAF19_Baz EAF331_Apollo EAF331_Stuntman H3dsh0t Special thanks to the Voice Actors: EAF19_Charlie EAF19_Baz EAF331_Stuntman EAF602_Joe90 H3dsh0t Edited February 28, 2015 by EAF_Stuntman

EAF will not let Wilmington be destroyed!
EAF_Stuntman Posted May 4, 2015 Author Posted May 4, 2015 Video from a big event yesterday. We had about 30 RAF fighters stationed in patrols over Isle of Wight, before being dispatched into meeting the enemy mid channel to defend the island. 36 RAF vs 44 Luftwaffe aircraft. Intense! 3rd May 2015, EAF joins 79 Sqn in defending Isle of Wight from air raids. Ground Control reports incoming contacts on radar, high altitude combat and bomber interception follows.

6./ZG26_Custard Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 All very nice Stuntman but can we have some BoS videos please? 1
EAF_Stuntman Posted May 6, 2015 Author Posted May 6, 2015 Thank you Custard. Funny you should mention that. I am going through my BOS archives right now, looking for anything interesting. Most of my recordings are from my first impressions of the sim.
EAF_Stuntman Posted May 10, 2015 Author Posted May 10, 2015 7th May 2015. For every sortie I survived past 20, I was happy escaping what I know is certain death sooner or later. Feeling the grip around my throat getting tighter for every sortie, every event, every returning to base low on ammo and fuel, over a sea of water... 77 sorties. Numerous times I wondered if my time had come, then I was allowed to go on. But I cannot run away from fate forever, destiny is inevitable if you keep going. At 22 angels over France, my time had come. So stand by your glasses ready Here’s a toast to the men of the sky Here’s to the dead already And here’s to the next man to die. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them. Cliffs of Dover - Fate 1
EAF_Stuntman Posted May 10, 2015 Author Posted May 10, 2015 (edited) Thank you Wuerger. That means a lot. Even though it is just a virtual life in a virtual campaign, I had been staying alive for so long I felt it more and more like my second life. Now I'm lucky to fly again without danger, but we must never forget it was real pilots who never could start over again. With this little video I hope to show respect to those real men and women that never came back from their sortie. Edited May 10, 2015 by EAF_Stuntman
EAF_Stuntman Posted May 10, 2015 Author Posted May 10, 2015 Ah, sorry I forgot to add it in the description. It's Martyr by Immediate Music.
EAF_Stuntman Posted May 14, 2015 Author Posted May 14, 2015 7th may 2015. Every time I climbed into the cockpit, I wondered for how long I could go on. After every mission I felt the grip of death ever getting closer. I have seen many enemies go down and wondered how my fate could be any different from theirs. Now on my 77th sortie still alive on the Storm of War server, my flight flew Hurricanes over France at 22 angels. Surrounded by 109s, my wingman was shot down and bailed out. The rest of our flight continued fighting together in a desperate battle, when my time had finally come.
EAF_Stuntman Posted September 14, 2015 Author Posted September 14, 2015 (edited) This is my latest trailer. Fully recorded in 4K resolution. I hope you will like it. Make sure to boost your speakers and enjoy the mayhem that is the Battle of Britain! I made it as a gift to Philstyle and Reddog, who has put so much hard work over a full year into the Storm of War server. Enjoy chaps! Edited September 14, 2015 by EAF331_Stuntman
