manuboki Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Hello everyone, I've always used my Saitek Joystick (on my MacBook) on other planes simulators. I really love IL2-Sturmovik, BUT I cannot fix/calibrate the center point with my joystick (the red point in the game input settings). Which means that every planes I want to control go always on the left (a very lot on the left). On my previous games I could fix the center point of my Joystick just clicking on a "center point" button. I do not find a such button which allows me to that. Can anyone help me on it ? Thank you very much to all in advance. Good flight
impulse200 Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 As a former Saitek Cyber Evo stick owner I remember that it calibrates itself after plugging in and moving handle on every axis to full extent. Have you tried that?
manuboki Posted January 30, 2015 Author Posted January 30, 2015 Hi impulse200, Thanks for your answer. Of course yes, I've already tried it (many times). I siwtch on my Macbook, I plug my Saitek Cyber, then I open the game, and when I go to Inputs, there is the green point which is centered, and the red point (my joystick point) which is on "left down". I tried many different ways to set as better as possible. But there is no way, it is still the same
Ala13_Kike Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Look at this link, and the third message. A photo where there appears X52 removed. Looks perfectly steel tube. http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3733240 Look at the steel pipe of this joystick. Maybe the end of this pipe has cut the internal wires (the cover of these wires). This is one possible problem of all Saiteck X52 You don't need to open your joystick as this picture to check, only the joystick base to check if your wires and his cover is broke by the end of this steel pipe, thanks at the bad termination of this...this pipe can cut this cover wires without problem, and cause damage and the problems that you explained. If so, you could try to center your joystick, but it will be impossible, needs repair, My old X52 was wrong exactly what you explained, and the reason is what I try, in my bad English, explain. The screening of these wires is very simple, Again, sorry for my bad English, only I try to help
