Huh! Such luxury - this vid features the copy and paste function! Luxury. I remember in my day when we had to place each thing manually, down t' mill.

 

And we were lucky!

 

But yes, it was a really good tool, and fun to use as you could zoom in and out of 2D and 3D modes easily, load missions up quickly. RoF's one looks no less comprehensive, just differently thought out.

I used that FMB to death... easy to get major mission types into the game, very easy to manipulate and use.

The RoF mission editor, had no joy with it.

The IL2 FMB had many, many people producing fantastic missions plus campaigns... Look on the many combat sim mission sites and try and find the many, many campaigns using the RoF editor... bugger all in comparison!

Hope this doesn't spell the trend out for what we can expect with BoS campaigns and missions.

I wish they would have kept this mission builder in COD. It's sort of the same but I still can't make a stupid dogfight mission. Coops yes dogfight missions ...Nope. Great video Chief
