FuriousMeow Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 It would be nice to have a way to train/instruct new players in a "dual seat" way with single seat aircraft. The primary player would invite the secondary player to join their plane, and they would be unable to control anything. This way they could be instructed on the various instruments, controls, etc without having to hunt for them themselves, and it would give a visual feedback as the "instructor" moves controls in the cockpit so the "trainee" would be able to see them. They could also join in on dogfights as an observer that would allow them to gain experience from a more experienced player in how to control and manage particular "aircraft" in a dogfight, attack run, or bomb run. There could also be the option to allow the "observer" to take control when presented by the "instructor." Kind of like a WebEx/Live Meeting/etc for virtual air combat sims. 1
GordonFreeman Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 If you have a good internet connection you can use "Twitch" or the new streaming service from steam... But don't we have a spectator mod in this game ? I know you can follow a plane from third point of view, so maybe you should just ask for a first person spectator point of view ? (With an active HUD)
-NW-ChiefRedCloud Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Gordon is correct. With the use of TeamSpeak/Ventrillo you can have someone spectate and coach you. Chief
Jaeger55 Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 This is a good idea, and a unique one. But Im sure it's too hard, or no time, or red white and blue the cow jumped over the moon.
